Maurice F. Edelson
Executive Vice President, General Counsel

Maurice F. Edelson serves as general counsel and oversees the company's corporate and administrative groups, as well as strategy.

Most recently Edelson was a member of the company's interim management committee.

Edelson was named general counsel in 2007 and later became an executive vice president.

Prior to that he served as Time Inc.'s senior vice president of strategic planning, responsible for corporate strategy and development.

Edelson joined Time Inc.'s law department in 1998. Before joining Time Inc. he served as a corporate counsel at Viacom Inc. and prior to that he was associated with the law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore.

A graduate of Vassar College, Edelson holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a J.D. from Columbia Law School.
