Shapiro came to Time Inc. from Jungle Media where he was the company's editorial director. While there, he launched MBA Jungle and JD Jungle, award-winning magazines targeting young professionals. Earlier in his career, Shapiro was the executive editor at Maxim and, later, at Details. His broad editorial experience also includes serving in senior positions at Self and Parenting.
