Evelyn Webster
Executive Vice President, Lifestyle Group

Evelyn Webster was appointed Executive Vice President of Time Inc. in January  2011. In this role she oversees all the brands in Time Inc.’s Lifestyle Group which includes the print and digital properties of Real Simple, Cooking Light, Southern Living, This Old House, All You, Health, Sunset and Coastal Living, along with MyRecipes.com and MyHomeIdeas.com.

Previously, Webster was CEO of IPC Media, a Time Warner company, where she led the UK’s leading multi-platform publisher. With a portfolio of more than 60 brands, including some of the UK’s most iconic and best loved titles, including Woman, TV Times, Ideal Home, Country Life and NME, IPC reaches almost two thirds of UK women and 44% of UK men - almost 27 million adults - while its online brands collectively reach 20 million users every month.

After being named CEO in January 2009, she restructured the 2000-employee company around three key audience groups: men (IPC Inspire), mass-market women (IPC Connect) and upmarket women (IPC Southbank). In 2004, Evelyn became managing director of IPC Connect and launched three of the most successful new brands of the past decade: Look - the UK’s first glossy high street fashion and celebrity style weekly, Pick Me Up - which reinvigorated the real life sector; and www.goodtoknow.co.uk - the destination for mass-market women online.

Webster joined IPC in 1992 as a graduate trainee, and a after a number of roles in marketing, circulation and publishing, she joined the IPC board in 2003, as managing director of IPC Inspire.

A native of Yorkshire, England, she graduated with a B.A. in business with marketing honors from the University of Greenwich. In her spare time, she runs marathons, practices yoga, and volunteers. She currently resides in Manhattan.
