CNNMoney Launches New Programming and Video Experience

Improved Video Integration Highlights the New Line-Up of Eight Shows

(New York, NY – March 5, 2009) Building off its success as the #1 web destination for business and finance video in 2008 (Nielsen Video Census), CNNMoney launched eight new programs today and unveiled an improved user interface. The new range of programming includes:

- Conscious Capitalism: An interview series with some of the biggest names in philanthropy to show how philanthropists are trying to tackle social issues or effect change through the power of money

- New Money: A profile series featuring young entrepreneurs and executives who are developing radical businesses and earning small fortunes at a young age

- Strategy Session: An interview series with big thinkers – economists, strategists and portfolio managers — on the economy, markets and investor relations

- Small Biz Tech: John Blum’s video series in which he reviews the latest gadgets, gizmos and techno-tools designed to improve efficiency for small businesses

- The Score: The Business of sports

- Help Desk: A video series hosted by our personal finance experts who will answer real people’s questions about money. Questions will come from men on the street, ireport and emails to CNNMoney

- TechMate: The latest news from the technology sector hosted by FORTUNE writers

- B.T.W.: A program revealing the stories of the week that did not make headlines but still matter on money, the economy and business

In addition to the new programming, CNNMoney improved exposure to the depth and breadth of video content with an updated user interface including a carousel on the video landing page. Additionally, site improvements create better integration of video into the site and text to enhance the consumer experience.

CNNMoney had 235 million total global streams in 2008, becoming the #1 site in streams in the category and garnering 53% of all streams in the category. With video expanding the overall site experience, uniques and pageviews grew as well, up 19% and 49%, respectively in 2008 (Nielsen).
