This Old House® Nominated for Three Daytime Emmy® Awards

CONCORD, Mass., (May 15, 2009)—The popular PBS home improvement series This Old House, which is entering its 30th anniversary season this fall, has been nominated for three Daytime Entertainment Emmy® Awards. The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the nominations for the 36th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards yesterday. The ceremony will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2009, at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles and televised live by the CW Television Network.
This Old House is honored with nominations in the following categories: Outstanding Lifestyle Program (senior producer David Vos and producer Deborah Hood), Outstanding Directing in a Lifestyle/Culinary Program (director David Vos) and Outstanding Achievement in Single Camera Photography (cameraman Stephen D'Onofrio).
Throughout its 30-year history, This Old House has won a grand total of 16 Emmy Awards and garnered an impressive 82 nominations.
The 30th anniversary season of This Old House premieres on PBS Thursday, October 8, 2009 (check www.thisoldhouse.com/tvschedule or your local listings).
