June 30, 2010 - Over 44 years, we have built a wonderful success story: today Expansión runs 19 magazines and 7 sites that reach 13 million people monthly, half of them loyal users of our web sites.
After achieving our original mission (“Transforming the standards of the Mexican publishing industry”), the company renews its corporate identity, changing both name and logo, to reflect more accurately who we are today.
“To create exciting media experiencies that enrich your life” is the new mission that will guide the team at Grupo Expansión, affirmed CEO Manuel Rivera. “We feel very proud and excited about this mission; our new name reflects much better our capacity to create relevant content through new and traditional media.”
Grupo Expansión’s new logo focuses on “the accent” that has distinguished several of our publications, but at the same time reveals a powerful evolution. It suggests an “on” button, which connects all the audiences and reflects our commitment to grow and move forward.
With this new mission and identity we renew our legacy of respect, credibility and relevance, in the confidence that our brands will continue offering meaningful information that helps our audiences have fun, stay updated and make smart decisions
