Time Inc. Creates New "Time Inc. Branded Solutions" Unit

Leslie Picard to Lead Combined Operations of Corporate Sales & Marketing and Digital Corporate Sales

NEW YORK, NY (January 10, 2011) –Time Inc. has created a new “Time Inc. Branded Solutions” unit that combines the Time Inc. Corporate Sales & Marketing and Time Inc. Digital corporate sales operations, it was announced today by Paul Caine, Time Inc. Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer. 

Time Inc. Branded Solutions is an integrated, full-service sales, marketing and creative organization for Time Inc.’s largest advertising partners.  This group will harness the scale of Time Inc.’s assets with Time Inc. branded programs and ideas.

 “Our new Time Inc. Branded Solutions unit will better address marketplace needs and work even more effectively within our company’s internal structure,” said Caine. “It’s an exciting step forward in our sales approach that will build on our strengths and further advance our goal of providing clients the best solutions for their business – ones that only Time Inc.’s unique assets and skills can provide.”

Leslie Picard, who was President of Time Inc. Corporate Sales & Marketing, has been named President, Time Inc. Branded Solutions, with both the Corporate Sales & Marketing and digital corporate sales teams reporting to her.

“Time Inc. Branded Solutions better organizes the great value that we offer our biggest advertising partners,” said Picard. “More than ever, we’ll be focused on branded programs and ideas that add value for our clients.”

As head of Corporate Sales & Marketing since 2008, Picard grew its operations and led it to several industry awards and honors, including being named MIN’s Marketing Team of the Year 2010.

Separately, Kirk McDonald, President of Time Inc. Digital corporate sales, has decided to leave the company to pursue other opportunities.  “We thank Kirk for his many valuable contributions to Time Inc. over the years and wish him all the best in his future endeavors,” said Caine.
