  • Entertainment Weekly Partners with CBS on First-ever Video
    Ad Insert

    CBS will be advertising its fall TV season with the first-ever video-chip ad embedded in an issue of Entertainment Weekly. The ad will be launched in partnership with PepsiCo to promote Pepsi Max soda and the TV network's Monday prime-time lineup. When EW readers open the insert, an introductory video will run automatically. The insert comes with five buttons, that will show a collective 40 minutes of video clips. The promotion starts in the Sept. 18th issue.

  • PEOPLE and LIFE MJ Tributes Both Make New York Times Bestseller List

    For the first time ever, Time Inc. has two books on The New York Times Bestseller list at the same time.  Published by Time Inc. Home Entertainment, LIFE Michael, 1958-2009 hit #19 and PEOPLE Tribute Remembering Michael, 1958-2009 hit #24. 

  • InStyle the Only Fashion Title up in its Comp Set for September

    InStyle was the only title in the core fashion set to post an increase in September ad pages.  InStyle was up 3.7% in September, while the core fashion titles were down an average of -35%.

  • People StyleWatch up 14%

    People StyleWatch saw sales for its September issue up 14% year-over-year. With new advertisers such as Tiffany, Michael Kors and Guess, the September issue, with 89 ad pages, is StyleWatch's largest issue ever. 

  • TIME.com Blackberry App Launches

    TIME.com’s Blackberry app received more than 3 million page views and 75,000 downloads in the first 3 weeks following its launch.  The new app lets users access the latest news, read opinion and analysis from TIME’s bloggers and browse through the brand’s award-winning photography. 

  • SI Swimsuit App Tops iPhone's Most Popular Paid Apps

    "SI Swimsuit 2009" became the #1 paid lifestyle application in Apple's App Store the day after it launched (July 23rd). The app, SI's first, has been downloaded 12,500 times and is gaining 250-300 subscribers a day. It retails for $2.99, offers photos and video of 20 models and allows users to track schedules and scores for sports teams.

  • GEE's MedioTiempo.com Breaks Traffic Record

    Mediotiempo.com, Mexico's leading soccer site, experienced its most highly-trafficked hour ever with 76,000 unique visitors from 3pm to 4pm on August 12th, when Mexico played the U.S. in the World Cup Qualifier match. Total unique visitors record for the day on the site was 315,408 and 29% of the traffic came from new visitors (Google Analytics).

  • SI and CBSSports.com Launch Content Partnership

    Sports Illustrated and CBSSports.com announced a partnership where the brands will share and distribute various digital and print assets. CBSSports.com will feature direct links across its site to SI.Com's award-winning writers, including Peter King and Tom Verducci. SI.com will promote live sports video on CBSSports.com such as SEC Live and Fantasy Football Today. In addition, MaxPreps.com, the online high school sports leader, will now be featured in SI.com's High School section, as well as become the engine for the iconic Sports Illustrated Faces in the Crowd franchise both in print and digital.

  • IPC Media Delivers Strong Year-Over-Year Growth In Print and Digital

    IPC Media’s latest round of ABC figures shows strong brand performances in key sectors.  Look was up 2.6% year-over-year with a circulation of 315,410; woman&home was up 4% year-over-year with a circulation of 350,212. Nuts grew its share of the total Men's Weekly sector to a record 62.9% and Soaplife was up 7.7% year-over-year.  On the digital front, the ABCe for NME.com was up 27% year-over-year, reaching 4,454,983 unique users in June.
