  • PEOPLE.com breaks records

    PEOPLE.com broke various records throughout January. The site set a monthly traffic record in January with 1 billion page views - the first magazine website ever to do so. PEOPLE.com also drew record traffic the day after the Golden Globes with 74.8 million page views versus 48 million last year. The site also received an unprecedented 3.7 million page views on mobile. Additionally, on Facebook PEOPLE is approaching 1 million "Likes", one of the largest fan bases of any magazine on that platform.

  • Time Inc. Branded Solutions

    Time Inc. announced the launch of the Time Inc. Branded Solutions Unit which is an integrated, full-service sales, marketing and creative organization for Time Inc.’s largest advertising partners.  The Branded Solutions Unit will harness the scale of Time Inc.’s assets with Time Inc. branded programs and ideas, to add value and increase revenue. Leslie Picard will oversee the Time Inc. Branded Solutions Unit as President.

  • TIME.com January record

    In January, TIME.com achieved an all-time record for monthly unique visitors. The site generated 22.5 million monthly unique visitors, a 23% increase over January 2010.  January's record performance is attributed in part to TIME.com’s newest verticals - NewsFeed, Healthland and Techland - which together accounted for 38% of overall site visits.  Much of the increased site visitation was driven by social media, with clicks on @TIME tweets growing 338% year-over-year and referrals from Facebook increasing 434% year-over-year.

  • StyleWatch up 49% in 2010

    People StyleWatch was up 49.47% in ad pages year-over-year. When comparing ad pages in 2008, Stylewatch has an impressive 86% gain in 2010 versus 2008. The Limited, Lacoste and Tommy Hilfiger among StyleWatch’s first-time advertisers.

  • Time Inc. Hosts Clients at CES 2011

    Time Inc. hosted an executive suite during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.  Highlights included hands-on demonstrations from Time Inc. Research & Insights and partner EmSense, showing how biometric technology is being used to capture cognitive and emotional responses to digital magazines and interactive advertising, as well as an exclusive live performance by Santana's band.
