Entertainment Weekly hosted a Music Lounge at SXSW Music, featuring a performance by Delta Spirit. Event sponsors included StubHub, Sirius XM Satellite Radio and NBC's The Voice. At SXSW Interactive, many notable panels, video and keynote speakers came from Time Inc. talent at CNNMoney, Consumer Marketing, FORTUNE and TIME. Highlights include CNNMoney's "Startup Radar," an interactive discussion between notable names in the startup community and attendees hosted by CNNMoney's Laurie Segall and Stacy Cowley and futurist Ray Kurzweil's ketynote conversation with TIME's Lev Grossman titled "Expanding Our Intelligence Without Limit," where Kurzweil provided a vision for the future of society.

Populist App Wins a Digital Ellie
TIME's Populist App won a Digital Ellie for "Best Utility App." Time Inc. earned a total of six nominations in four categories. Nominated brands included: Entertainment Weekly, PEOPLE, Sports Illustrated and Cooking Light. The awards were presented at a luncheon in New York City co-hosted by ASME President and PEOPLE Managing Editor Larry Hackett.

PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly Deliver Strong Oscar Content
The day following the Oscars, PEOPLE.com's pageviews were up 39% to more than 103MM - the best-ever for red carpet season and the second-best day ever for the site. The day after the Academy Awards also marked the brand's biggest day ever for mobile pageviews. The PEOPLE Red Carpet Trivia Live page saw a 262% increase year-over-year in users who visited the game throughout the telecast. Additionally, the PEOPLE Live Blog set a new traffic record. Throughout February, Entertainment Weekly's Oscar site special received 22MM+ PV's up 23% year-over-year. On Oscar day, EW.com generated record traffic with a total of 2.9MM pageviews, and the Oscar package on the site hit 11.8MM pageviews in just two days. The brand saw a record number of tablet usages -just under 1MM pageviews, up 189% year-over-year in two days, and for the first time ever EW saw 1MM daily mobile pageviews on the day after the awards show.

Sports Illustrated Features Exclusive Content for Mobile Consumers
SI's annual NCAA Basketball Tournament preview issue featured first-of-its-kind technology with a record four sponsored gatefolds. The issue added groundbreaking technology that combines a universal scan tool capable of reading all print-to-mobile-action codes and an enhanced augmented print viewer into one device. Readers that scanned the cover gatefold with a smartphone were given access six computer-generated images "floating" over the cover image collage, which launched exclusive video content. Infiniti, which signed on as an advertising partner, watermarked the inside front cover gatefold which, when triggered, launched an Infiniti commercial. Powerade, Northwestern Mutual and AT&T also sponsored gatefolds in the issue.

Real Simple's April issue unveiled findings of its latest research survey, Women & Time, which provided time management tips for readers and an essay by TIME's Ruth Konigsberg. The brand also hosted an event on the study moderated by Real Simple Managing Editor Kristin van Ogtrop and featured Bobbi Brown, Founder & CCO, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics; Amy Chua, New York Times best-selling author of Battle Hymn for the Tiger Mother; and Claire Shipman, ABC News Correspondent and New York Times best-selling author of Womenomics as panelists. RealSimple.com launched supportive tools for users, including an interactive tool detailing how users spend their day, as well as an e-newsletter.
