Time Inc.'s ALL YOU, the premier smart shopping brand that helps women live well for less, introduces a new shoppable feature in its tablet edition. Through a partnership with ShopAdvisor, consumers can now purchase items directly from the brand's digital pages, observe price drops and see a product's price history to ensure that they are getting the best value. This capability is in pilot on the iPad and Kindle Fire, starting with the May issue.
ALL YOU editors have curated select products throughout the issue that can be instantly purchased - from summer swimsuits to Mother's Day gifts starting at $6. Consumers simply touch the "Shop Now" button featured on the page to see which products are shoppable as well as a list of retailers and sites where the product can be purchased, the current price, chart of the product's price history and option to buy.
If a consumer is interested in a product but is not ready to buy it, he or she can watch it and receive email alerts when the price drops or when there is a special promotion.

Nearly two-thirds (62%) of smart shoppers look for deals on their smartphone or tablet, according to a recent survey of 2,600 women ages 21-59, conducted by Insight Strategy Group for ALL YOU.
"For decades, shoppers have turned to magazines for inspiration, often dog-earring pages to help them remember products they want to buy. We're thrilled to add this benefit to the digital shopping experience" said ShopAdvisor CEO Scott Cooper. "Consumers appreciate reminders and act on them. In fact, we've found that when someone uses ShopAdvisor to watch a product and is later alerted to a price drop, users will click through to an online retailer nearly 20% of the time."
