New York, April 17, 2014 – Time Inc. today named Scott McAllister Senior Vice President, Digital Marketing. McAllister will report to Executive Vice President of Consumer Marketing + Revenue, Lynne Biggar and will be charged with developing new mobile, social and ecommerce consumer revenue strategies as well as launching new business partnerships. McAllister will join the Company on May 12th.
"Scott has a passion for redefining how consumers experience brands through digital channels," said Biggar. “What is really impressive about him is his ability to lead lean, global 'start up' teams that rapidly develop and execute new consumer experience prototypes. It's exactly where we need to be and we're excited Scott is joining our team."
McAllister has 15 years of marketing experience, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Digital Experience for Tourneau, the largest luxury watch retailer in the U.S. Previously, he spent nine years at American Express where he began by running the Merchandise rewards category for the Membership Rewards program, and later became Vice President of Internet Consumer Card Acquisition.
